Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories

Forgotten, But Not Lost

Chain of Memories is both for Game Boy and the Playstation. It takes place after Kingdom Hearts I.

The game starts off with the friendly trio (Sora, Donald, Riku) running across on a nice green landscape. Over night, when they are taking a rest, Players will see Sora being confronted by a mysterious man wearing a black cloak. He says "Along the road ahead lies something that you need. However-- in order to claim it you must lose something that is dear to you." After the strange man disappears, Sora and the others wondered where he went. Facing the camera upwards into the night sky and then down, the scene changes. We see a person drawing, and a female doll/puppet inside a bird cage. As the drawing is shown to be a unique castle, once again the scene changes to the actual castle (same one in the drawing) with the Kingdom Hearts title.

The trio enters the castle which is completely white. With Jiminy on Sora's shoulder they discuss why they all had the same thought: "Our very best friends-- they're here." It couldn't be a coincidence. They decide to see what is up and explore the castle.  Goofy wanted to close the door behind them until they saw the mysterious man shutting the door behind them!

Castle Oblivion
Demanding for his name, Donald thought he could be a Heartless. When the duck goes to cast Thunder on him, his magic doesn't work. The man approaches him, and poor Donald asks about his magic not working. "I should think it is obvious," says the man. "The moment you stepped into this castle you forgot every spell and ability you ever knew." He kept talking, "In this place, to find is to lose, and to lose is to find. That is the way in Castle Oblivion."

After passing through Sora (literally) he makes a card of Traverse Town. He will find who he seeks through that card. The man leaves into a portal of darkness while saying Sora's name.

Determined to find Riku, Sora proceeds into the doors of Castle Oblivion.

In a secret room deep within, lies a boy in sleep. His heart resting inside a childish heart just like his own-- a friend.
